The Hornet PX273, took off from Fairwood Common Swansea, heading for Norfolk, no reason for the flight is evident, and the huge impact of the plane embedded the engine of the plane into the ground close to Wernlas farm. The aircraft disintegrated and unfortunately the pilot W/C Peter Bond was killed.
